Enhancement Request – Extend AI Metadata Population to Process Summary Level

With the recent IBM enhancement, AI can automatically check and populate metadata at the activity level when generating blueprints.

We would like this capability to be extended to the Process Summary level, as process-level metadata is equally important and is currently the primary source for reporting and API-based data extraction.

Using the AI Guidelines feature, Business Managers should be able to define mandatory Process Summary metadata fields that must be populated in all AI-generated blueprints. In addition, the AI engine should be enhanced to validate, recommend, and populate these process-level metadata fields during blueprint generation, similar to the current functionality available at the activity level.

This enhancement would provide the following benefits:

  • Ensure consistency and completeness of process-level metadata across AI-generated blueprints.

  • Reduce manual effort required to update process summary details after blueprint creation.

  • Improve reporting capabilities, as process summary metadata can be extracted through APIs and used for enterprise reporting.

  • Enable organizations to enforce business-specific metadata requirements through AI Guidelines.

We believe this enhancement would deliver significant value to business teams and improve the overall effectiveness of AI-assisted blueprint generation. We would greatly appreciate it if this could be considered for a future release.
