Allow linking between process flows using send/receive link event.

Blueworks Live should allow linking between blueprints using the send/receive link events much like message linking works but not defined as a message.  The biggest problem is there’s no way to link multiple sequential flows via a link event to another blueprint much like an off page connector in traditional CFF. It requires a higher level flow with linked processes to connect them. And from a user experience (UX) perspective it means clicking to that parent flow (which an inexperienced user may not understand exists if he/she didn’t originally navigate from that parent flow), following the flow path to next linked process, then following the popup link to the linked subordinate process. It’s cumbersome and can be confusing to basic viewers.  Additionally, the BPMN standard explicitly states that the link event can be used as an off-page connector, so it adheres to the standard.  Above and beyond that, systematically speaking, any large model starts to exhibit rendering issues once you start adding more and more activities in a flow; and the auto-layout starts to become a burden rather than a benefit - this currently creates issues with live process updates with SMEs as SMEs have to wait for the modeler to manhandle Blueworks Live vs utilizing their time more effectively.

Hi Phillip, from the linking concept you descibe we agree that this could be improved. We cannot commit to this for 2025, but i will put this in future consideration. With respect to your comments on the ' canvas' experience, ie auto layouts becoming cumbersome at scale etc. This is a common observation, and we agree that it needs improving. We are focusing on a moderniation program this year, as part of that roadmap we will certainly look at this aspect. Many thanks
