1) A single role in the glossary can be used in more then 1 process blueprint. I want a view (exportable) that shows a role used in what blueprints AND what activities are assigned to that role per blueprint. (Like a BWL policy you can see "used where") .This export will create the input for a profile/job description.
2) of a RACI the C and I are both modelled by the role "Expert" A tool as BlueWorksLive Insight (from Salient) exports via the API and allows you to complete the RACI with C & I. It is bad because that data is then outside BWL. We need the full RACI on a Blueprint inside BWL so this single process def is also enough for QHSE department and ISO Q management.
Hi reg, thank you for creating the idea. I want to summarize my understanding of it to make sure we are on the same page:
Today, a role defined in the glossary can be assigned as a swimlane, participant or also be a business owner or an expert. You want to be able to export the glossary value and show a RACI matrix for that role - is that correct?
Can you also please elaborate on the last line "To complete, an option to assign this role to a Consulting role would complete the need to develop RACI matrixes on a BWL process."?
FYI, today the API can be used to pull this information and get the usage data for a particular glossary item: https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/blueworks-live?topic=values-glossary-valuesvalue-idusage. This will then have to be converted into a RACI matrix.
The usage information is also available via the UI in the Library glossary value management (example used here is a glossary value "Teachers" and shows where they are a Participant, Business Owner, Expert and in a Swimlane):
