Hierarchical dropdowns for custom fields

We are requesting the implementation of hierarchical drop downs, such that a selection of a 1st level dropdown spawns a 2nd level dropdown based upon the 1st level selection, and then the selection of the 2nd level dropdown spawns a 3rd level dropdown based upon the 2nd level selection.

For example:

[select country] – the user is presented with a list of all available countries

[select state/province] – if ‘United States’ is selected, then this 2nd level dropdown will only list the 50 U.S. states

[select city] – this 3rd level dropdown list will contain all cities that should be listed based upon the state selection

The above example is for locale/geography. We would like to implement similar hierarchical structure for Citi internal attribute-value pairs.


This should define relationships and linkages between the values in the hierarchical tree, such that the value in the 1st level dropdown is related to the values in the 2nd and 3rd dropdowns.

    Hi Tamas,

    As for deriving custom properties from existing properties, at this point in time, we have no plans to provide such capability. But it's an interesting idea, one that we'll keep in-mind as our product roadmap evolves.
