This is an IBM Automation portal for Digital Business Automation products. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

private Hi Veena, an admin would have to enable and set up your custom properties within the account. And so reach out to your admin for assistance. Once they enable, you can then use them within your processes. Thanks!
Attachment (Description)
Please advise on the status of the enhancement request.
Team, It does seem like I will need admin access to set the custom properties. Please advise if my understanding is wrong. I'm attaching a snapshot of how my blueworks screen looks.
Thanks for your request! We will add this enhancement to the list - the ability to navigate directly to an activity from the search results.
But a better solution might be for you to leverage Blueworks Live custom properties (for example, to create a custom Incident property). You could document the Incident thoroughly that way and attache any references to it that you wanted to(using the Glossary Reference feature), and you could add it to process activities. That way a user would be able to use the Where Used query tool to see every process that a particular incident occurred in (including the activity, which they could navigate directly to). And users could also use Analyse mode to visualize the Incidents referenced within a process. Here are some resources that could help you if you decided to try that approach:
- brief overview of custom properties: https://us001.blueworkslive.com/scr/docs/bwl/topics/adm_cust_account.html#customizingproperties
- a lab that includes the use of custom properties: https://www.ibm.com/cloud/garage/dte/tutorial/manage-custom-properties-ibm-blueworks-live
- For a detailed example that shows the power of using custom properties with Glossary link references, please watch the Glossary References section of this video (starts at the 9 minute mark): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5lg_CVA1MMk&feature=youtu.be
