I think this should be enabled for exports from Workflow/Process Center in BAW, as well. A limitation in Process Portal is that one cannot browse a "process repository", only view the diagram for a running instance. (Workplace can't even do that, which is depressing.) We want to publish our WYSIWYG executed process diagrams.
Thanks for your request! Note that the DI is an optional part of the BPMN2 specification. Importing tools are expected to be able to consume BPMN2 without the DI and to be able to generate the diagram (layout, etc) when the DI is not present. If Camunda and Sparx require the DI in order to generate a valid bpmn diagram, then that is a limitation of those tools. Blueworks Live will likely support DI at some point, but we do not currently have plans to do so.
