Shape the future of IBM!
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Post your ideas
Start by posting ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted and upvote them if they matter to you,
Post an idea
Upvote ideas that matter most to you
Get feedback from the IBM team to refine your idea
Help IBM prioritize your ideas and requests
The IBM team may need your help to refine the ideas so they may ask for more information or feedback. The offering manager team will then decide if they can begin working on your idea. If they can start during the next development cycle, they will put the idea on the priority list. Each team at IBM works on a different schedule, where some ideas can be implemented right away, others may be placed on a different schedule.
Receive notifications on the decision
Some ideas can be implemented at IBM, while others may not fit within the development plans for the product. In either case, the team will let you know as soon as possible. In some cases, we may be able to find alternatives for ideas that cannot be implemented in a reasonable time.
Please use the following category to raise ideas for these offerings for all environments (traditional on premises, containers, on cloud):

At this time we have no plans to make custom properties available only at the process level, but we understand that in some cases that would be very helpful for you (Annual Review Date, Process Catalogue Name). Thank you for providing these examples and we will take this into consideration for longer-term evolution of custom properties in Blueworks Live.
Hi Team,
Thanks for your revert.
As you have said below, Process properties will get listed under all levels(Process, Milestone, Activity & Gateway) but one of the Process property "Due date" appears only in the activity level and not in other levels. Please clarify.
If you can add this customisation of selecting Process properties in different levels at least in "Custom Process Properties", that will help us.
It will reduce our Glossary numbers as sometimes users are inputting the same value in all the levels. For e.g. we have "Annual review date" and "Process Catalogue name" as Custom Process Properties and we want to show them only in Process level. So that it will be clear and easy for the user to update.
Please advice.
Kind Regards,
Kavitha Nambi
Thanks for your request, Kavitha! We don't have any plans to give Admins control over which properties appear in at the different process levels. Although we should probably add some more explanation to the Properties page so that Admins can more easily understand where properties appear. Properties listed under the Process Properties & Custom Process header only appear in processes. Properties listed under the Decision Properties header only appear in decisions. And all properties appear at every level. In other words, Process Properties appear in Process Details, Milestone Details, Activity Details & Gateway Details. Decision Properties appear in Decision Details & Subdecision Details. Can you provide some examples of properties that you use that you only want to appear at certain levels so that we can better understand the business requirement?
Attachment (Description): In Admin page under "Properties" we currently have list of Process properties which can be used in the Process diagrams. (default ones provided by IBM and the ones that are created by us for having customised properties) Currently we have all the properties listed together, no segregation based on Milestone/ Process level/ Activity/ Gateway level. From the ‘Properties' screen we are unable to determine which property field is listing under which section of the process diagram
