Request for a data normalization mechanism between BAMOE 8.x InstanceView models and BAMOE 9.x Event POJOs

Some clients rely on custom implementations of ElasticSearchEventEmitter in BAMOE 8.x to synchronize process and task data (ProcessInstanceView, TaskInstanceView, TaskOperationView) directly with Elasticsearch.

This approach ensures transactional consistency and enables real-time querying of large volumes of process and task instances through Elasticsearch-based wrappers, avoiding additional load on the database.

When migrating to BAMOE 9.x (Kogito), the new event model introduces multiple specialized POJOs under kogito-events-core, which differ significantly from the unified InstanceView model used in previous versions.

This structural gap prevents direct field mapping and often requires rebuilding task or process data through GraphQL queries, introducing latency and unnecessary computation.

The request is for a mechanism to normalize or align these data structures across versions, allowing equivalent task and process information (e.g., potentialOwners, excludedOwners, businessAdmins, inputData, outputData) to be accessed without additional query overhead or post-processing delays.

Ideally, such a mechanism would provide a common event representation or a mapping layer that exposes equivalent fields from the new BAMOE 9.x event POJOs in a structure similar to the former InstanceView classes.

The goal is to maintain compatibility with existing Elasticsearch or similar integrations, while adopting the new event architecture introduced in BAMOE 9.x.

    Hi @Guest

Wanted more clarity on 2nd bit of 5th point.
We already emit events in real time. Could you clarify what you mean by ‘accelerator or integration component’? Are you asking for a pre-built Elasticsearch connector or something else?
