Allow clean configuration of XU pool with JBoss console
(from Case TS003025050)
For JBoss environments, there is no a clean way to configure the XU pool sizes.
Currently, the supported way (and not very well documented) is to modify the file ironjacamar.xml from the resource adapter that comes the product, jrules-res-XXX.rar.
This is what I call "dirty way": we need to modify the product's installable RAR archive.
There is also an alternative, to configure the resource adapter on JBoss's standalone.xml. However, ODM ignores this configuration and tries to allocate the pool by itself. The ironjacamar.xml must be removed from RAR in order to start the application without problems.
This is why we request an enhancement:
- the product knows that the resource adapter has been configured and intialized on JBoss and then he bypass its own initialization.
- or the product ignores the ironjacamar.xml configuration because we set a java's system property to specify this behaviour. Something like: "-DignoreIronjacamarConfiguration=true"
