HTDS Role-based access control management for decision services

We need to have HTDS services in RES console should have a provision to map roles and we should be able to secure them based on individual Decision Service and its consumers. Today, we manually map the roles and update HTDS EAR for redeployment. This is very cumbersome and tedious. We need to have a UI functionality for the role-mapping via RES console as well. We have large number of decision services and roles. Repackaging HTDS EAR every time we introduce a new decision service for role-based security mapping is not very efficient and prone for errors and losing previously mapped roles, etc.

    Hello,

    Thank you for taking the time to suggest this enhancement to IBM Operational Decision Manager. In the containerized version of ODM 8.10.4, you can now configure the mapping at install time.     Your request for this functionality in the RES console may not be delivered within the release currently under development, but the theme aligns with our current roadmap and, as such, is being tagged for future consideration.
