Regarding requirement 2 (Need a role which will allow a user to delete deployment reports, but not perform a deployment.), I dont think this is available today. An admin can delete a report and also perform a deployment
Let me make sure we're on the same page regarding req 1:
an admin in DC can configure a deployment configuration so that it can be used by specific group(s) of users. For instance user Bea in "bizGroup1". Bea can then deploy a decision service using that deployment configuration, but Bea cannot delete the deployment report created from that deployment. I just checked again with ODM 8.12.0.1
If this functionality exists, can you please elaborate on how this can be achieved today? I have tried this in several ways such as REST API fine-grained permission setting & haven't found any way of achieving what is needed.
I would like to reiterate the requirement:
Need a role which will allow a user to deploy, but not delete deployment reports.
Need a role which will allow a user to delete deployment reports, but not perform a deployment.
To add more detail, due to compliance, there is a need to block deletion of deployment reports while at the same time giving the user permission to do deployments. Currently there is no way to separate the ability to do deployments and delete deployment reports. Therefore anyone that does a deployment can delete their deployment report. This is a violation of separation of duties.
