We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Post your ideas
Start by posting ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted and upvote them if they matter to you,
Post an idea
Upvote ideas that matter most to you
Get feedback from the IBM team to refine your idea
Help IBM prioritize your ideas and requests
The IBM team may need your help to refine the ideas so they may ask for more information or feedback. The offering manager team will then decide if they can begin working on your idea. If they can start during the next development cycle, they will put the idea on the priority list. Each team at IBM works on a different schedule, where some ideas can be implemented right away, others may be placed on a different schedule.
Receive notifications on the decision
Some ideas can be implemented at IBM, while others may not fit within the development plans for the product. In either case, the team will let you know as soon as possible. In some cases, we may be able to find alternatives for ideas that cannot be implemented in a reasonable time.
Please use the following category to raise ideas for these offerings for all environments (traditional on premises, containers, on cloud):
Cloud Pak for Automation - incl Business Automation Studio, Business Automation Insights
Business Automation Workflow (BAW) - incl BAW, Business Process Manager, Workstream Services, Business Performance Center, Advanced Case Management

Enhance search filter for group retrieval to reduce latency during LLLDAP authentication
Due to the way Datacap handles group retrieval during authentication we experience significant latency during LLDAP authentication for users who are members of many groups.

Enable users to create launchers based on machines
In the way that IBM RPA is designed today, Launchers created can be visualized by a group of users allowed, no matter which machine is executing Launcher application.

Currently, you must have BWL open before you can click on a link to a process blueprint that someone sends you. This is an extra step which causes confusion to users who are not aware that you must first have BWL open before you can click on the l...
Email task notifications for caseless tasks should point to WorkDashboard or WorkPlace and not ProcessPortal
Automatic email notifications for BAW applications, which include case functionality, contain a link redirecting Case Client or WorkDashboard depending on whether the task is part of an activity or not.
However, for caseless BAW applications, emai...
Allow subfolder creation via the "Document Explorer" widget
We can use the "Document Explorer" widget in case tasks but if we point to a case subfolder, then it is not possible to create a lower level subfolder.
Subfolder creation should be possible at any level and not only at parent case folder level.
